Dr. Rania Sobhy is a Consultant of Cornea and Refractive Surgery and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. She is Specialized in Cornea and Refractive Surgery at the National Hospital Centre of Ophthalmology of Quinze-Vingts National Ophthalmology Hospital – Paris.
Dr. Sobhy serves as the Deputy Director of the Eye Bank at Cairo University and is a Consultant of Cornea and Refractive Surgery at several renowned institutions, including the International Eye Hospital in Cairo, Egypt. She is an active member of numerous professional societies, including the Egyptian Ophthalmology Society, the Egyptian Society of Cataract and Corneal Diseases, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ESCRS), and the Cornea India Society.
Dr. Sobhy is recognized internationally as a speaker at conferences hosted by ESCRS, ASCRS, and AAO, where she shares her insights and expertise in the field of Ophthalmology and Corneal Surgery.
