يعد مبنى الأورام في **المركز الطبي العالمي (IMC)** أحد الركائز الأساسية للمركز. ويشمل ثلاثة أقسام رئيسية: الطب النووي، المشرط الجاما، والعلاج الإشعاعي.
العلاج الإشعاعي
قسم العلاج الإشعاعي هو قسم مجهز تجهيزًا كاملاً بأحدث أجهزة العلاج عن بُعد (التليثيرابي) التي تقدم العلاج الإشعاعي بتقنيات ثلاثية الأبعاد (3D conformal) والعلاج الإشعاعي المعدل الشدة (IMRT) والعلاج الإشعاعي بتقنية القوس السريع (VMAT Rapid Arc).
وحدة زراعة نخاع العظام
تحتوي الوحدة على أربع وحدات معزولة بشكل كبير ومجهزة تجهيزًا فائقًا لزراعة خلايا الدم الذاتية والمناعية لأمراض السرطان الدموية. وتتمتع الوحدة بشبكة مباشرة مع البرنامج الوطني لمانحي نخاع العظام لتسهيل البحث عن متبرعين غير مرتبطين متوافقين.
المشرط الجاما
المشرط الجاما هو الأداة الأحدث لعلاج مجموعة متنوعة من الآفات الدماغية من خلال الجراحة الإشعاعية دون تدخل جراحي مباشر، بل من خلال أشعة من مصدر إشعاعي محسوب ستيريوتاكتيك من الكوبالت 60. إنها أداة جراحية دقيقة في يد جراح الأعصاب.
