Dr. Rania Abdel Salam is a Consultant of Oculoplastic Surgery. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Glasgow, United Kingdom and is considered to be one of the leading surgeons in the field of eyelid and oculoplastic surgeries. She specializes in eyelid tightening, ptosis correction and treatment of orbital tumors, injuries, and congenital defects of the eyelids. Dr. Abdel Salam also performs lacrimal system surgeries and surgeries related to orbital tumors, fractures, and thyroid-related eye diseases.
Dr Abdel Salam leads the education and training of doctors at Cairo University hospitals and has led multiple international and local research projects.
