Professor of Ophthalmology at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University
Dr. Ahmed Awadein is a professor of Ophthalmology at the Faculty of Medicine at Cairo University and is a Consultant of Pediatric and Strabismus surgery in Adults and Children. He is a Fellow at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD in Retinal Surgery. Dr. Awadein is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom.
Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Awadein actively contributes to the field of Ophthalmology on a global scale through his involvement in the International
Council of Ophthalmology and holds a position on the board of the Egyptian Ophthalmology Society (EOS). Furthermore, he is the Secretary General of the
Egyptian Society of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, while also being a proud member of the International Strabismus Association.
