Professor of Ophthalmology at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University

Dr. Noha Khater is a Consultant of Retinal Surgery and Medical Retina. She is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and a Member of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists of London. Dr. Khater holds a Fellowship from the University of Texas, Houston in the United States in Retina Surgery.

Dr. Khater is considered a pioneer in Management of Diabetic Eye Diseases and Surgery in Egypt and the Middle East. Alongside her academic and medical achievements, she also serves as the CEO of Almouneer for Medical Services – Egypt’s leading healthcare platform for management of patients suffering from Diabetic Eye Diseases and the first specialized digital eye care network serving over 45 million patients in the Middle East and North.

Following her passion for innovation and providing the best care possible for her patients and others in the healthcare industry, Dr. Khater launched dru, the first regional lifestyle patient app, connecting patients and healthcare providers across various specialties related to diabetes.
