Oncology Building<\/h5>\n
IMC oncology building is one of the major pillars of IMC. It encompasses 3 major departments; nuclear medicine, gamma knife, and radiotherapy.<\/h6>\n<\/p>\n
Radiation Therapy<\/h5>\n
Radiation Therapy Department is a well-equipped department with up-to-date teletherapy machines delivering 3D conformal, IMRT, and VMAT(Rapid arc) radiation therapy.<\/h6>\n<\/p>\n
Bone marrow transplantation unit<\/h5>\n
The unit contains four highly isolated and super-equipped units for autologous and allogeneic transplantation of hematological cancers. The unit has a direct axis with the National Marrow Donor Program to have the facility of searching for matched unrelated donors (MUD).<\/h6>\n<\/p>\n
Gamma Knife<\/h5>\n
The gamma knife is the most recent tool to treat a variety of brain lesions via radio-surgery without direct surgical intervention but through beams of stereotactic calculated radiation source of cobalt 60. It is a surgical precision tool in a neurosurgeon’s hand.<\/h6>\n<\/p>\n
